GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS - UPDATED FEB 2026
These Terms & Conditions affect your legal rights. Please read them carefully. By signing, booking, or clicking “I agree,” you confirm that you understand and accept these Terms & Conditions for yourself and for anyone you book on behalf of.
1. ABOUT GOLF PRECINCT
Golf Precinct (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides indoor golf simulator bays, putting areas, coaching, lessons, events, food and beverages, and other recreational services. By entering our venue or using our facilities, you agree to follow:
• These Terms & Conditions
• All Safety Rules and Guidelines
• Any instructions from Golf Precinct staff
Precinct Golf NZ Limited (NZBN: 9429053087836 ) (Trading as “Golf Precinct ”) as the supplier of recreational services, sells all tickets and supplies all recreational services and facilities to the customer (“you”), including but not limited to: indoor golf simulation sessions, coaching & lessons, entertainment, food & drinks, sitting area and use of the Simulator Bays within the Golf Precinct venue. All use of the facilities at Golf Precinct is undertaken according to the Terms and Conditions in this agreement, the safety rules and restriction guidelines on the Golf Precinct website and the instructions given during the introduction briefing. By purchasing a simulation session and/or participation in a session at Golf Precinct , you are deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions in this agreement with Golf Precinct .
2. PARTICIPATION & HEALTH
Golf involves physical activity and may be risky. By participating, you confirm:
• You are in good health and fit to take part
• You understand that golf carries inherent risks, including injury
• You accept full responsibility for your own safety and the safety of any children you bring
• Golf is not recommended if you have heart, neck, back, or recent surgical issues
If you are unsure about your health or have existing medical conditions, please talk to our staff before participating.
3. DISCLAIMER & RELEASE
By entering Golf Precinct, you acknowledge that:
• You participate at your own risk
• We cannot be held responsible for injuries caused by your own actions or negligence
• You release Golf Precinct, its staff, directors, and agents from all liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from your participation
This release applies even if the facilities were not supplied with due care or were not fit for purpose, or if injury occurs due to potential negligence.
Your estate is also bound by this release.
Golf Precinct is not liable for loss of profit or any consequential damages.

4. GENERAL VENUE GUIDELINES
Entry price includes the hire of the full bay, an introduction then a 55-minute Simulator Bay session.
• Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your booked session for processing and introduction.
• Parents/Guardians remain responsible for their child’s welfare at all times Please note: children aged 13 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is required to be present during the session. Unaccompanied children will not be allowed to participate and will lose their booked session. Exception for Golf Precinct Junior Golf Programme and After School Programme attendees. If one parent or guardian is bringing multiple kids, some of which are not his/her own, that adult is responsible for that group.
• All bookings are subject to our Booking/Cancellation/Refund Policy stated in Terms and Conditions.
• Participants must follow the below Safety Rules and Restriction Guidelines. Failure to abide by any of the guidelines may result in the cancellation of the remainder of your paid simulator time without compensation.
5. SAFETY RULES (YOU MUST FOLLOW)
Golfers must:
• Check in before entering a simulator bay.
• Ensure clubs and shoes are clean (no spike shoes allowed).
• Stay alone in the hitting area while swinging.
• Use equipment carefully and responsibly.
• Use Golf Precinct supplied balls only.
• Swing clubs only on the green hitting mat.
• Check your surroundings before every swing.
• Aim shots at the hitting screen.
• Stay aware of your backswing and follow-through.
• Follow staff instructions at all times.
• Report accidents immediately.
• Pay for any damage or lost hire clubs (charged at wholesale cost).
• Pay for any damage caused by not following rules.
Important: NO LONG-DRIVE DRIVERS ARE ALLOWED.
6. FEES, CHARGES & TICKETS
• All pricing is in NZD and includes GST.
• Prices may change without notice.
• Full payment is required before entry.
• Tickets/passes remain the property of Golf Precinct.
• Multipasses and gift cards are non-refundable and expire after 12 months.
• Tickets cannot be resold or used for promotions without written permission.
• If a price or product is listed incorrectly, we may cancel the transaction even if payment has been made.
You acknowledge that despite Golf Precinct ’s reasonable precautions, Golf Precinct products and services may be listed at an incorrect price, with incorrect information, or which are unavailable due to an error or oversight. In these circumstances, Golf Precinct reserves the right to cancel the transaction, notwithstanding that your booking has been confirmed and full payment has been made.
7. BOOKING, CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Casual Simulator & Putting Sessions
• Bookings are non-refundable.
• You may reschedule or receive credit (expires end of calendar year) with at least 48 hours’ notice, minus a $5 admin fee per transaction.
• Less than 48 hours' notice = no reschedule and no refund.
• No-shows are not refunded.
• Transaction fees are non-refundable.
Simulator Leagues
• Rescheduling requires 7 days’ notice.
• Less than 7 days = non-refundable.
Morning & Twilight Leagues / Monthly Sunday Family League
• Reschedule with 48 hours’ notice.
• Less than 48 hours = non-refundable.
Exclusive Hire, Group, Party, Corporate & School Events
• Rescheduling: At least 7 days’ notice, minus $5 admin fee.
• Partial cancellations: At least 7 days’ notice, minus $5 admin fee.
• Full cancellation: At least 7 days’ notice, minus a $100 cancellation fee.
• Less than 7 days for any change = non-refundable.
8. RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY:
Golf Precinct holds the right to refuse entry or cancel your access to use the facility if you:
• Reasonably appear to be under the influence or in possession of alcohol or illicit substances.
• Fail to comply with Safety Rules and Restriction Guidelines and/or fail to follow the instructions of Golf Precinct staff.
• Behave in an offensive, reckless, careless, or threatening manner to other customers or staff.
• Are reasonably deemed to be a danger to yourself, other customers, or Golf Precinct staff.
9. CONSENT FOR VIDEO, IMAGES AND EMAIL:
You acknowledge and give consent that, upon entering the Golf Precinct premises, you and children for whom you are responsible for may be photographed and/or videoed for security, safety, and promotional purposes.
By providing your email to Golf Precinct , you consent to receiving promotional and advertising material from time to time.
