Membership & Payments
How do I sign up to become a member?
You can sign up to be a member of GP online via our website - Memberships
Alternatively, you can visit us during staffed hours if you wish to discuss membership options in person
What is the weekly membership?
Our weekly membership (depending on level) gives you 24/7 access to a set number of hours in one of pour bays ( booked online).
How does weekly membership work?
Members pay a weekly fee ( depending on membership level) which provides
· Access to member only rates and deals
· Priority or early access to bookings and events
· Full use of the trackman practise modes and courses
Is there a minimum commitment period?
Memberships have a minimum term of 3 months. There is a $100 early cancellation fee.( refer to memberships terms and conditions for details )
How are payments made?
Payments are automatic weekly payments of your nominated credit card provided on sigh up
Can I pause or cancel membership ? refer to Membership terms and conditions
Yes, in some circumstances memberships can be paused ( limit applies and need to be discussed with staff)

What kind of technology is used in the simulators?
All our simulator bays use world-class TrackMan technology. Our coaching bays feature TrackMan 4, while our standard bays use TrackMan iO technology, delivering accurate ball tracking and an excellent indoor golf experience.
Why do we use Trackman simulator?
TrackMan delivers tour-level accuracy using advanced tracking technology that precisely measures club and ball data. Do I have to use the Trackman app?
No, you don't have to use the Trackman Golf App to use a Trackman system, but it is highly recommended as it offers significant benefits like tracking stats, playing games, booking bays, and accessing data, with guest options for basic play; the app elevates the experience but isn't strictly mandatory for hitting balls.

Do I need an account ?
Yes, You will need to create an account or if you have already created one to book a bay the same account can be used. You can sign up directly from the app on your phone. Once logged in, all your shots, rounds and coaching stats will be saved automatically.
Make sure you use the same email you used in your booking or membership
How do I connect the app to my simulator session?
1. Open the Trackman Golf app on your phone
2. Log in before or during your session ( use the quick login QR code on the screen)
Ask one the of staff if you need any help
Can multiple players use the app in one session ?
Yes, Each player can log into their own Trackman account during the same session. Everyone’s data stays separate and is saved to their individual profile
Can I review m y session after I leave ?
Yes, Once your session ends, your stats and rounds remain avaible in the Trackman app.
You can :
· Review shot by shot data
· Compare sessions over time
· Share results with coaches and friends
What data will Trackman track for me ?
Depending on the mode you are using Trackman can track
· Ball Speed, launch angle, spin rate, carry distance and total distance
· Club speed, club path, face angle, attach angle
· Shot dispersion and gapping
· Scoring, and round statistics.
All of this can be reviewed later in the app.
Bookings & 24/7 Acess
Can I book a golf simulator at Golf Precinct without being a member?
Absolutely! You don’t need to be a member to book a golf simulator at Golf Precinct in Papamoa, Tauranga. We welcome casual visitors who want to practise their golf swing, play a virtual round of golf or enjoy a session with friends. Our TrackMan golf simulators are available for casual bay hire, so simply book a session online and come along!
How does 24/7 Access work?
Golf Precinct offers 24/7 access exclusively to members, allowing you to practise or play golf whenever it suits you, including outside our staffed opening hours.
Casual visitors are welcome to book TrackMan simulator sessions during our available casual booking hours, but 24/7 access is a membership-only benefit.
Members can enjoy the flexibility of using our indoor golf facilities in Papamoa, Tauranga, at any time, subject to bay availability and booking requirements.
Members to unlock the 24/7 door type in your 6-digit pin into the keypad, followed by the enter key. If the door successfully unlocks you should hear a beeping sound followed by a click of the door unlocking. Your pin will be activated 15 minutes prior to your booking and can be used indefinitely for the duration of your booking – the pin will be deactivated at the end of your session.
How many people can use each simulator bay?
4 people can play per standard bay
How long does it take to play a round of golf on one of your simulators?
Times will vary based on familiarity with the simulators and skill level. It takes approximately an hour for an individual player to play 18 holes. So, if you have more than one player you will want to book additional time based on the number of players in your group. If you get through your booked time and would like to extend, we’ll do our best to accommodate your request dependent on other bookings.
What happens when my session ends?
The screen will come up with a 5 minute timer so you know when your session is coming to an end, it will lock you out when your time is up and we ask you leave the bay tidy for the next players and move out for bookings after you.
What bays are for left handers?
All Golf Precinct bays are set up for both left and right handers, with no need to change anything
Can I play a round of golf on the simulators?
You sure can! We have hundreds of courses to choose from. Range Bays are powered by Trackman,
Facilities & Equipment
Do I need to bring my own clubs ?
You’re welcome to bring your own golf clubs to Golf Precinct. We encourage golfers to use their own equipment, particularly when practising or analysing their performance using TrackMan technology.
If you don’t have your own clubs, please contact us before booking to check whether suitable equipment is available to use.
What balls and tees do you use?
We supply golf balls and plastic tees for everyone to use. Please use the provided balls and tees, as we rotate our balls to keep the screens from being damaged, and normal tees tend to fly around and potentially hit other players.
We only use premium golf balls for our bays, with our bays equipped with Bridgestone Tour B RXS and our Coaching/Fitting bay equipped with the innovative Titleist Radar Capture Technology (RCT).
What do I need to bring?
We have limited hire sets available so if you have your own clubs bring them with! We ask that you make sure your clubs are clean before you come in to keep our screens clean for everyone.
Are food and drinks available during late-night sessions?
Not at this stage, but we will be adding vending machines in the future
Is the facility secure?
Yes! Our facility has 24/7 security monitoring, including CCTV surveillance and logged entry access to ensure a safe and secure environment for all players.
ALCOHOL POLICY
Golf Precinct operates a licensed venue. Members and guests must not bring their own alcohol onto the premises. Only alcohol purchased on site during licenced hours may be consumed. Breach of this policy will result in termination of membership in accordance with the Membership Termination clause above.
